  1. as long as you insert in correctly and all the way, you'll be fine. I', forever wearing tampons and swimming or working out or doing whatever.

  2. Don't worry I'm on mine and I have to be at the pool for swimming everyday and I was freaked too... just bring extras. most likely your not gonna leak I would just change it every 4 hours just in case

  3. Don't worry. If you have a tampon in (especially a super) then you will be fine.  Just get out to check it every hour or so to make sure there is no leakage.  You don't have to worry about blood gushing out in to the swimming pool.

  4. There is something quite amazing about how there is almost no gravity in the water...Somehow your period blood seems to stay inside of you...However, your tampon is gonna get soaked by the pool water.. No worries! having had my period for 13 years now, I can honestly say that with a tampon, worrying about blood leaking in a pool is almost non-existent. You have nothing to worry about.  Just never take aspirin while you are on your period, it thins your blood out and makes you bleed more. Just take an Iron supplement and evening primrose oil supplement, midol or whatever, tampons, (Be sure to pack extra!) and change your tampon while in the pool every hour and a half, or when you feel your "Cork" starting to get soaked.

  5. My advice is to throw the box of Kotex away and go buy Playtex or OB.

  6. you will be fine.  just change it after if you are worried about it.
