  1. it's ok tampons are part of our body no it does hurt do it slow

  2. they have slender ones or you can use the light ones, and it helps if you get the ones with a rounded tip and plastic applicator, just dont leave them in for longer than 8 hours, and just try to relax, if you have trouble you can use some ky jelly or some type of lubrication

  3. tampons are your friend.

  4. i always wear tampons when im on my period,

they arent uncomphy at all, i cant even tell im wearin one.

some of my friends hate them tho,

    everyones different i spose,

    jus give it a try,

if ya dont like them, dont use them (:

  5. TAMPONS CAUSES CANCER !!!!!!!! DO SOME RESEARCH ON THAT FOR A CHANGE, I DON`T KNOW WHAT ITS WITH THESE TEENAGERS THESE DAYS.....

  6. im 13 nd i jst started useing them this summer.

most of my friends do too.

best kind:: those new sport ones. 360 protection.

    they work really good.

its kinda difficult the first time you use them. what i did is i took a morror, layed down on my bed, and brought a tampon nd a small cup of water with me. locked the door or course. i do nottt wanna sound sick, but it really workd well for me. i kinda wetted the area down there with some water...so that it would b easier for the tampon to slip in. (get a plastic applicaotr. their easier!) and then put the tampon right at the top of my vaginaa (lol sounds weird) anyway..yeah nd applied a pretty equal amkout of pressure and slowly slid it down. wen it gets to the hole it will slide right in. hold the grip with your fingers, and push it in until yur fingers touch yur body. then push to release the tampon from the applicator. and pull. if yu try to take it out later and its difficult&sticking, keep it in for longer, it means its not too full of blood yet, and will make it much easier wen it fills up. or go in a bathtub&open up yur legs kinda to let water in to fill it up nd then pull out. if you really get scared nd want it out. i did it my first time. it works.

    HOPE THIS HELPSSSS!!! good luck!

  7. Well tampons hurt the first few times you use them. Well they just feel weird. You get used to them and start to love them actually. You can do almost anything like sports or swimming activities. You should try regular Tampax Pearl tampons for your first time. They have instructions in the box but i find it easier to stand up and set one foot on the toilet and insert the tampon upwards inside [1st hole]. Remember dont leave your tampon in for more than 5 hours, to reduce the risk of TSS. Wear pads at night so you can be more comfortable.

  8. when i first started my period i used sanitary towels bcoz as u i was afraid they would hurt. i found the towels uncomfortable and smelly and alot messier to deal with. so i decided to use tampons. to insert it i just put one leg on the toilet seat and inserted it into my v****a it didnt hurt at all i found them comfortable you dont even know you are wearing them plus the are alot cleaner to deal with. tampax are the best brand. they have different types of tampons for different flows of period so if you have a light period you choose light ampons if you have a normal period then choose regular but if you bleed quite heavily during your period you are better going for super or super plus. there is an issue with tampons that they can possibly cause tss toxic shock syndrome, there are different symptoms to look for with this, nausea, vomiting, headache, weak or dizzyness stc if you experience any of these remove the tampon immediatly and see your doctor just to be safe. you also must change your tampon every 4 hours at least but if youare bleeding quite heavily then you might need to change it more regularly than this. but i reckon tampons are a more hygenic and comfortable way to go. oh and your weight has nothing to do with it. and inside your pack of tampons yo'ull find a leaflet explaining how to insert and use them. you just push it in enough so its comfortable and leave the string dangling out of your v****a. just pull on the string when you want to remove the tampon. hope this helps

  9. Well, as for tampons, I heard that they can cause Toxic Shock Syndrome. Im 18, and my mom never used to let me wear Tampons, just pads. I've always wondered how they felt, but assumed that it was simpler using pads(thin ones are the best to me). If you really wanna use them just try them. I also heard though that girls only 16+ should be using them but talk to your mom about it.

  10. use tampax pearl!

and just go to beinggirl.com and they should have stuff on there about tampons and everything.

  11. k, well

for me it hurt at first, but now it doesn't. if it hurts, ur either not relaxing or its in crooked. it takes a few tries but you'll get the hang of it and will become easy.

I use tampax pearl, it goes in smoother and doesnt leak as much as playtex sport

  12. OK well i sorta had the same problem cause i didn't like to use them either! but i learn to try it

1.they only hurt if ur still a virgin which i am pretty sure you arelol!

2.Your gonna take the wrapping paper of you know the packaging and you'll see a string u place it in ur yeah know lol and pull the string out

3.For the best brand try Tampax

    hope it helps!

  13. tampons are good because you can still wear normal underwear and do actvitys such as swimming etc.. they can take a while to get used to but they arent difficult or painful to use.. the only thing i will say is make sure you change them often and get the right one for your flow as they can cause infection... this rarely happens though.. try them, you got nothing to lose!!x

  14. I like the tampax pearls. No it does not hurt at all...you can't even tell it's in. When you first attempt to use a tampon, it might be helpful to use a lubricant such as KY. Trust me, once you learn to use tampons you will be thankful!

  15. Don't Lie To your Friends, They Should Understand...

If You Buy A Pack Of Tampons There is A Small Leaflet Inside The Box Saying How to Use Them etc..

    Google It Aswell : D

    Good Lukc Hun x

  16. The only way to find out if you can use them is to try it out for yourself. There are detailed instructions on the box. Change them every 3-6 hours.

Alternatively look into the diva cup. It's my best friend. They make for a truly happy period (f you, always brand).

  17. My sis prefers pads, she thinks tampons are uncomfortable, but it's what you like best!

P.S Sorry for violating the "girls only" thing... =S

  18. don't worry they don't hurt AT ALL!i'm 14 i had the same worries before i just tried them, there's like no need for directions or anything if you do it wrong it might feel uncomfortable, but if you just put it in at a slant and put it far enough in, then you should really forget that it's in :) lol hope i helped and goodluckkkkk !!
