  1. i just started using tampons and i held off for a year since i was worried they would hurt or something and they really don't at all...you basically can' tell that they are there...you have to put a few in before you put them in right and they feel fine...if you put them in wrong they will hurt. most important thing: when you put one in wrong just wait like 20 min. before taking it out cause if you pull it out dry it hurts......tss is if you forget you have one in and leave it for a really long time (full day) and bacteria grows that can make you sick (symptoms=fever, etc.-read the paper inside the box for more info)... get playtex sport..i think they work better than tampax cause they really do open in a circle and they really don't leak, but still wear a pad to school in case it does leak....it depends on the person, but you probably will continue growing even though you have started your period...no you are not to big, and idk about the last thing

  2. you grow about 2 more inches once you've had your period =)

and i know! i just got my period and i tried using a pad for 1 day and all it did was make a mess and it was gross and i hated it.

tampons are the way to go!

they dont feel like anything if you put them in right.

you change them every 4-8 hours.

you get TSS if you use a tampon thats too absorbent, but it barely ever happens, dont even worry about it.

    good luck!

  3. u shouldn't feel anything if its in right but if u don't put it all the way in  or if u take it out too soon it may hurt but u may get tss if u wear it too long warning signs would be a sudden high fever of about 102 degrees Fahrenheit or 38.8 Celsius or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, a rash that looks like sunburn, muscle aches, or fainting if that happens remove the tampon and contact a doctor for immediate treatment

  4. Tampons take only a day or two to get used to. It's hard to explain how they feel, but after a while you don't realize that they're even there. They don't hurt at all but they are uncomfortable at first. TSS is what you get if you leave your tampon in for like 10 hours. I'm sorry I don't know the symtoms.

Girls do not stop gorwing once they get their period, and how tall you are really depends on your parents. Hope this helps!

And no, your not too big. I was probably the same height and weight as you when I was 11.

  5. If the tampon is in right you shouldn't feel anything at all.  Sometimes if I don't put one in far enough it will get sore.

You can get toxic shock syndrome from wearing a tampon too long.  Bacteria build up in the tampon and can make their way into your bloodstream.  Just make sure to change your tampon every 4 hours.

I'm 28 and only 5'3" so you're already taller than me, but no, you won't stop growing just because you got your first period.
