  2. it is VERY easy to get a tampon up and it is much more cleaner.

also when you wear a tampon wear a small pantiliner just incase any extra blood comes out because if you have a heavy flow then it will happen.

so if your having trouble getting it up then there is stuff called lubricant.

ask your mother about it and say do you have any lubricant to get the tampon in my v****a? because it makes it go up in ONE second i was shocked. my first time putting a tampon on i was so scared. and i actually didnt use lubricant and it didnt hurt like i thought it did but the second time to make it easier i just used lubricant and i loved it.

it was the easiest thing ever so ya just ask your mom about it.

and ask her which hole you put it in dont be shy. just say mom i dont know which hole to put my tampon up my v****a in!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

    hope it helped.

  3. When you open the box, there will be instructions with wonderful drawings and diagrams for you to follow.

As others said there are a few positions for you to take, but me personally I prefer to sit on the toilet with your knees apart.

My advice to anyone inserting a tampon for the first time is to wait until your flow is heavy and then use a smaller size until you get used to it.  Before you start, make sure you relax.  Relaxation is the key to insertion.  Also, make sure you are comfortable with your body.

Stick your finger inside your vaginal canal to make sure you know where to put the tampon in, because it is possible to aim too high or too low, and then you'll be putting in the wrong place!!

Once you've done that (This is assuming you are using tampons with applicators) stick the tampon inside your body, holding it in the middle where the finger grooves should be.  You should be holding it about halfway, where the top and bottom part meet.  Then insert it until your fingers are touching your body, where the middle of the tampon is.  Then you push the applicator up.  The bottom part of the applicator should go INSIDE the top part of the applicator, pushing the actual tampon inside your body.  Then you remove the applicator.

If the tampon is inserted correctly, you shouldn't be able to feel it too much, and only the string should be hanging out.  If it isn't high enough, you can either remove it and try again or use your fingers to push it in higher.

Good Luck!!  Tampons are a wonderful convenience, and very comfortable to use.

  4. you just insert it the way you want. The string is only supposed to stick out because when your done you just pull it out.

Don't leave it in more than 4 hours.

    Don't sleep with 1

Be careful you don't forget to take your first tampon out before you put your other one

If you lose the string then you have to take it out with your hands.

If you can't get it out.. talk to a doctor..

  5. It's easier to put your leg up on something, but you can insert it however you want as long as it gets in (:

None of the tampon should stick out at all. Only the string.

It will definitely feel weird the first couple times but you will get used to it and it will get easier and take less time.

    Good luck!

P.s. Tampax Pearl have a built in leak protection and have an easy glide aplicator. I would reccomend it! (:

  6. the tampon is not supposed 2 stick out. Only the string. And if you bought a box of tampons the instructions should be on the box. you might want to look at tampax website for complete directions. Be patient with yourself!

  7. there is a leaflet in the box of tampons that answers all these questions, pictures too. you'll probably find that more useful.

  8. you sound too young to be using tampons, you should not start using them until you have had you period for at least one year, you can have an allergic reaction to it that can make you very sick. read the instructions on the box and it goes all the way inside your v****a. hope this helps

  9. The box has instructions, but I've found that putting my foot on the toilet while putting it in really helps.  All you want to see is the string.  If it's in right you shouldn't feel anything.

  10. There are instructions in the box but the 1st thing to do is relax, then hold the applicator w/ ur thumb and middle finger and insert it into ur vag til ur fingers touch ur body.  then push the applicator.

Some women find it easier to put their leg up on a toilet seat or the edge of the tub.   if ur a beginner thats probly what u wanna do.  it will get easier each time u try.

No none of the tampon should be out except the string.  if some of the tampon is out, it will be uncomfortable and may leak

  11. I stand up with my knees bent a little to insert it.  If a part of the is sticking out you didn't put it in right.  Only the string should stick out.

  12. The tampax box has illustrations about insertion, You choose the position that is most comfortable for you. The tampon is not supposed to stick out, you shouldn't even feel it.  The only thing you should see is the string. You haven't inserted it far enough.  Try a tampon with a plastic applicator as they are much easier to insert than cardboard. When I started using tampax I inserted them lying down on my bed. Pretty soon you will get the hang of it. Some companys have beginner boxes.  With experience you will get the hang of it. so good luck and keep trying.  If you insert it and you have to pee, pull it out because it's in your bladder.

  13. To insert the tampon, there are a few positions. Personally i like sitting on the toilet, but you can put your foot on the seat, or squat. None of the actual tampon is suppose to stick out, just the string. When you stand up, you shouldn't feel anything.

There is a paper inside the box of the tampon that can help you with other information.
