Thanks! :) If so... What brand, type... i've looked at some and they seem too big...? is that the kind, or is there smaller?

Thanksss

  1. I started using them when I was 13 because I wanted to go swimming. I'd use Tampax lites if you want something small. That's what I still use today. But be careful if you have a heavy flow, they might need to be changed more. Use regulars if you're going through them too fast. If you'd prefer a plastic applicator, get Playtex brand. I'm pretty sure Tampax is all cardboard applicators. I also have several friends who swear by Playtex sport tampons. Again, plastic applicator. It's up to you. Try a few and see what feels right.

  2. Uhmmm you're height and weight don't matter. I'm not sure why you said all that but tampons work on most people. There's lighter absorbency's if thats what you mean. Light regular super super plus

  3. you can try if you want, the size depends on how heavy your period is.

ive been using tampons sins i started, (tampax)

and i like it a lot better then pads.

you might want to carry advil with you though because sometimes they give me slight cramps but everyones different

i use regular but if you have a very small period you may want to use the ones for the end of a period.

    help us??

  4. NO...sorry i say no...no 13 year old girl is ready to wear a tampon...you dont need to be shoving anything up there...wait till your at least 15..tampons arent healthy...ive never worn one in my life.

  5. Just use tampax pearl.  Tampons are not a big deal, I wore them at 10 when I got my period. Who wants to wear a diaper-like pad? If it is uncomfortable it means you did not insert it right.  It took me a few times to get it in correctly.

  6. i went through the same thing!! summer sucked before tampons. so i finally decided to try it and at first it felt weird and was uncomfy but you get used to it and it works great. good luck

  7. Hey!  I'd say just go for it.  There is nothing to worry about and after a few practices you'll find them comfy and much more hygenic than pads.  Try to go for 'light flow' ones first.  They're smaller and good for first time.

Also, buy ones with a plastic applicator to start with as they're easier to insert, eg tampax have those.

Just read through the instructions first and I'm sure you'll be fine.

    Good luck ^_^

  8. firstly women's health would be a good category.

    1) tampax

    2) ofc your ready..

    3) get one with an applicator, make it easier for you!

  9. I was 11 when I started using them.  If you're up to it, go for it.

I personally like O.B. tampons, because they work better but they don't have an applicator.  you might want to start with Always (my other favorite) first.

  10. Hey! Try using Tampax Pearls (regular). They are amazing and slip in real easily. I never used to be able to put in tampons, until this summer, but I just recently tried Tampax Pearls (regular), and they really work great.

  11. I was 13 and i used them.

I used tampax compak and found them so comfortable, I didnt know i was wearing one,

    I couldnt wear a pad.

    good luck!

  12. You are ready I'm 16 but started at 13 as well it was fine! :D

  13. theres really nothing that defines when ur ready to use a tampon. use one if u want to. theyre easier and more comfortable than pads...im fourteen and i started using them like 6 months ago wheni was thirteen.

if the ones u've looked at seem to be too big then go for light/slender ones. and make sure u get ones with a plastic applicator. but its gonna be like really uncomfortable the first time u use one just to let u knowww
