Tan or Pale? This is directed towards guys, but girls can answer also.

Question

Now most would probably answer pale because most people Fake&Bake now a days, but I am talking about a gorgeous, natural bronze, glow, not that orange hue that comes from applying a bunch of tanning stuff, Versus, a pure, pale colour, thats not totally white, but looks almost immaculate.

So, I'm just wondering, which do you guys prefer?

well the people that i normally think are pretty are that natural bronze look. pale people make me cringe and gag. im a redhead not pale but not tanned. its hard for mee.

i've seen many girls with a natural glow and it looks AWESOME. pale is nice, but it seems kind of boring cuz theres a lot of it around. tan is different, tan is unique,

Tan is a lot prettier, BUT too tan is a way turn off. I went to the beach and this one guy was so tan it was gross. I wish I had a natural glow but I don't tan! I'm a red head =P

Depends.

Some people look good with a pale look, some look better with a natural bronze...

So yeah, it all depends on the person.

I LOVE pale girls.To me fair skined girls are just beautiful...Don't get me wrong,taned girls are beautiful too,since every girl is pretty in her own way,but pale girls are my kryptonite...Even more if they have a geeky look ^-^

usually you look better with your natural skin tone because it fits in with your natural hair color and your fetures(if that makes any sense)

As a guy who gets totally turned on by tons of freckles all over a girl's face, I'd have to say Pale, because pale girls are more likely to have lots of HOT looking freckles!

Add to the rainbow by being pale if it is natural.  Leave the tan to those with more melanin such as Afro, Native or Hawaiians if it is a health threat.  Red-headed Scots and Irish, your freckles and whiter skins are just as natural and precious to the human race as our darker friends, neighbors and relatives and what's not to love about your M8 from Israel, Kenya, China, the Paiute "rez" or Florida?  Cherish and promote your contribution to diversity by being yourself.

Im a girl and I prefer pale skin, tans can look really bad on some people. I have pale skin and I love it, even though people often say to me "are you sick, you look really pale today!?" haha. Also, theres no such thing as a healthy tan and its damaging to your skin (promotes wrinkles and skin cancer).

Tan to me is not unique, seeming as so many people get fake tans these days, and I live in Australia and people really love to sun bake...

I prefer outdoorsy tan, not the tan from laying in the sun, but the tan from working outside... guys or girls...

unfortunately i have red hair and "alabaster" skin, it doesn't tan, it turns red and burns.....

I personally think people look best with whatever is natural to their complexion. I have seen beautiful pale girls and beautiful bronze girls--but the key I think is that it's their natural skin tone and not from some icky spray tan or white powder.

I wish people would just be happy with themselves the way they are.
