  1. Breaking a single peice of wood is very easy. What technique/strike are you expected to break it with?

Your first break is more of a mental test rather than a physical one. When the time comes and you're standing in front of that board, focus. Psych yourself up and then bam! It'll break. Remember to strike through it.

Your instructor would not be allowing you to break boards if he/she did'nt know that you can do it. It's ok if you don't break it on your first attempt. Your instructor is testing your will and is hoping you will conquer your fear.

This is an exciting moment. Prove to yourself that you are not scared. Forget about others. And when that board snaps in two, you're gona feel great!

    Go get 'em tiger!

  2. No...You can just smash right through it.  It will not hurt.

  3. focus your strike through the other side of the wood by a couple inches. It is important you follow through. No you won't need to have the boards weakened in any way. The thing to remember is to not hesitate but to follow through. If you hesatate the energy will go to your hand and sting a little. If you follow through the energy goes to the wood and you won't even feel it.

Yo will be suprised how easy it is if you just don't hold back.

    Good luck.

  4. It's the easiest thing in the world seriously. it's only there to increase your confidence level. Follow you instructors instructions and if you do it fast enough strong enough, you won't even notice touching the wood.

Whats really fun is breaking brick!!!!
