the official question is:

".... Explain how the main character grew (matured) and changed (developed) over the course of the story. Cite examples of character development from the text."

every year, we write an essay on that year's required reading book. We don't write the essay for a couple of weeks, but I figured I should start thinking about what I am going to write. I think the main idea of what I am going to write is that he became much more confident throughout the book, and as we got farther into the story, his actions were often more bold and courageous. Is that mainly what you think I should write? Can someone give examples in the book ( no need for pages, ill look it up later) where he showed development? I have a list but i wanna know if i missed any.

thanks so much! xoxoxo
