Tangier, Algericas or Tarifa?

Hello!!

Me and my girlfriend are going to Morocco for a couple of weeks in August and are looking at places to stay en route home to Britain. Our initial idea was Algericas, but this seems to have bad reviews, so we thought possibly Tarifa, only to see bad reviews for the month of August! Where would you recommend or should we just stay in Tangier??

Hi!

I also did the ferry from Europe to Morocco (reverse direction as you).  For myself, I enjoyed a night in Algeciras, though I used it to be a tourist in Gibraltar.  But Algeciras was cheaper so it was easier to just take the bus down to Gibraltar for sightseeing.  

My experience in Tangier was not bad but the reviews were so bad I did not stay.  I took the morning ferry and then caught the taxi to the train station and was in Fes well before dinner.  

Otherwise though I don't think there is danger in Tangier, or Algeciras.  For something more interesting though, had you considered Ceuta?
