Tank for clown fish?

is a ten gallon aqarium good for keeping one clownfish? thanks!

  1. Well no the minimum tank size should be doubled that size so you would need a 20 gallon tank and maybe add more fish


  2. only if that one clownfish is what you plan on putting in the tank. if you want any other fish you would have to have a minimum of 20 gallons

    2 gallons for every one inch of fish is a good rule for saltwater aquariums

  3. If it`s a baby,yeah..For a while.

  4. 10 gallons is really too small for a clownfish. What species of clown were you thinking?

    Unless you're already experienced in keeping marine water parameters stable, don't try keeping a tank with saltwater fish any smaller than 30-55 gallons.

    Most clownfish need 30 gallons or larger.
