Does anyone know if tanning oils actually help get you tanner faster? Websites? Links?

I'm talking about laying outside tanning, not fake baking ;)

  1. Definitely use a tanning lotion not oil. Oil dries out your skin and makes it loose the top, tan, layer faster. Also, consider going to a salon where they can recommend one that's right for you rather than buying a cheap one that doesn't actually work from a drug store. It's their job, they're experts.

  2. I WOULD SAY JUST USE TANNING LOTION BEACAUSE THE OIL DOES DAMAGE TO YOUR SKIN U MAY NOT SEE IT RIGHT AWAY BUT AS TIME GOES ON U WILL NOTICE.IT'S LIKE OIL IN A FRYING PAN IT GETS HOTTER AND DAMAGES THE EPIDERMIS AND UR MORE LIKELY TO LOOK OLDER THEN WHAT U ARE AS U AGE

  3. yes they do help. you will tan much faster and get alot darker. i used it all summer at the beach and got an excellent tan. they reflect the sunlight so you soak up more rays. i used dark tanning oil by bannana boat. it smells wonderful and like i said gave me an amazing tan. :)
