Tantallons Kay to swing back into form for the 2012 Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 6 at Shelbourne Park
Tantallons Kay leads the line-up for the 2012 Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 6 with the most exceptional credentials. The race will be held at Shelbourne Park over 525 yards on Thursday, 24th May.
Head Bound’s two-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Talita Beauty was declared not raced in her seasonal debut and then even after the first training session of the season, she got driven down to the fifth position in the next race.
However, once she did start winning, Tantallons Kay stretched the winning streak to four.
Her seasonal win was in the Grade A4 the Early Pick 4 Starts Now 525 on 16th March at Harold’s Cross as she timed the track distance in 29.62 seconds. The 6/4 favourite winner of the race led the runner up, Salute Him, by a length. He completed the trip in 29.70 seconds.
She then captured the Grade A4 Try A Trio Bet 525 on 23rd March at Harold’s Cross by reaching the other end of the wire in 29.56 seconds. She led the runner up of the race, Officer Conefrey, by five lengths.
Coming at terms with the third position was Flag Honor.
She struck a hat trick by winning a third race in a row on 30th March. Tantallons Kay was entered as the 6/4 joint favourite and she made it to the other end of the wire in 29.18 seconds.
She took charge of the final two lengths and had Mickmo Boy finishing the closest. The other joint favourite of the race, Lodgefield Sand, ended fifth.
On 6th April she led on with her unprecedented success and won the Grade A2 ‘Deal Of The Month’ Offer 525 at Harold’s Cross by settling the race in 28.97 seconds. The 6/4 favourite winner led the runner up, Peggys Ali, by two and a half lengths.
After scoring second, Tantallons Kay bagged the very recent two races.
She was successful in the Healthcare Transport Services Oaks Round 2 Heat 3 on 19th April at Shelbourne Park after timing the track distance in 28.99 seconds.
She won the Healthcare Transport Services Oaks Semi-Final on 28th April at Shelbourne Park by timing the distance in 28.79 seconds.
After suffering through a third position in the most recent race, she will get prompted to bounce back into the winning form tonight.
