Tapering off Citalopram (Anti-Depressant)

I started tapering myself off the tablets around 2 weeks ago. I would be interested to hear from anybody that knows , how long it takes after stopping the drug for it to be completely out of your system. I am tapering the drug down by 2.5MG every 2 weeks so very slowly to avoid side effects. How have you done this?

The way you are doing it is the best way.  Unfortunately, Celexa (citalopram) is one that can cause some really icky side effects.  Doing it faster can cause depersonalization, "brain zaps," isomnia and dizziness.
