Taping to a DVD Recorder from Sky +?

Can you please help, I recently purchased a DVD Recorder to record films saved to the hard drive (planner) on Sky +. This recorded no bother, until I chanced it and tried to record from box office. A corrupt message appeared both on screen and on the DVD Recorder, and ever since then my recorder does not play anything recordrings on any other DVD Players.....HELP!!!

sky box office prevents you recording the films as they are encrypted..I cant understand why it should affect the dvd recorder as my recorder just comes up with a message saying can not record this signal.

if you record something on your dvd recorder it may not play on other dvd players unless you finalize the dvd it should have this option in the settings on your recorder to finalize the disc

if that dont work

I would take it back to the shop if under warranty. Just dont tell them why it happend as it may invalidate your warranty
