Targa drh 5400x will not

targa drh 5400x will not burn dvd i have burnt 19 on it however when i place blank dvd in machine it says to change it very annoying contacted targa technical support they advised me to deleat hard drive and turn off machine for 30 min in the process of doing this can you help thank you
