Target Neeson expected to dominate proceedings in Williamhill.com Stakes
Target Neeson is likely to prevail in the Williamhill.com Stakes at Newcastle in England on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. The triumphant hound will be awarded a cash prize of £118.
The Grade A1 event is scheduled to start at 21:22 GMT and six quality hounds have been attracted towards it. Following are the entries confirmed for the 480 metres race: Target Neeson, Oran Leader, Hestias Lad, Hughs Rocket, Wor Hacka and Kielduff College.
Looking at the stats of Target Neeson, it appears that he will manage to win today’s race comfortably. This is why the bookies have awarded him with the best odds and the punters will also be looking forward to invest a lot of money in his favour.
The A. Dawson’s trained hound has been running regularly in this class and his performances have been quite brilliant. He has won a couple of races out of his past five outings, which shows the kind of form he is in at the moment.
However, the black dog was unable to finish on top of the table in his past couple of appearances. The results were still not bad for him, as he managed to secure the runner up position on both occasions.
Looking at the consistency of Target Neeson, it will be difficult for the rest of the hounds to match him in the end. He is the son of Big Daddy Cool out of Ballymac Supreme and was born in March 2010.
On the other hand, Oran Leader is also a fierce competitor and will give a tough time to his rivals at Newcastle. His recent performances in this class have not been good though, which indicates that he might find it hard to finish on top of the table today.
The J. Wright’s trainee finished fifth in his most recent run, thus the bettors will be discouraged to risk money on him. However, he does have the tools to deliver a winning performance and anything can happen in the race, if he gets a clear run.
Oran Leader is the son of Hades Rocket out of Droopys Lauren and was born in July 2009.
With most of the hounds struggling for form, Target Neeson is likely to dominate proceedings in the Williamhill.com Stakes today.
