Target Visa guest credit card approved or not approved?

Question

I applied for the Target visa guest credit card. When they were suppose to give me a dessition this is what they wrote to me.

Status: Requires Further Processing

Your application requires further processing. You will receive a response in the mail within two weeks.

Dose this mean I'm not approved?

All it means is that they need more time to investigate your credit history.  Just give them a week or so.

Not approved.

Its just easier and less embarassing for you and the cashier to tell you it "requires further processing" than to tell you outright you were denied.

Interest rate is too high on those anyways!

If they were going to decline it they would just out rightly say so.

It sounds like they need some further information from you.
