  1. It probably depends on how old the glasses are. Target has an unconditional 90 day satisfaction, and up to one year, they take the broken jobs on a case by case basis. It also depends on the break: a manufacturers defect, you might have a good chance of getting them replaced. If you are just plain rough on them, maybe not. And opticians can usually tell the difference because they've seen it a million times! Often (though not always), Target will let you replace the frame (under one year) for a discounted cost.

As for a repair, if it's a metal frame, it can usually be soldered, but not plastic. Usually, you have to take it to a jeweler or something for that.

  2. You will have you check where you bought them at. Sometimes opticals will give you insurance on the glasses, some times they don't. If for any reason they won't ask them if they will give you a dis-count on a new pair that way you could keep your glasses.

In the event they don't fix take them to a eye glass repair shop they usally could help you, but be careful sometimes they want to charge you more then what a new pair is worth.

  3. OMG! Call Target!
