Defending Russian Premier League champions, Zenit St. Petersburg, managed to sign Hulk from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Axel-Witsel-c7029 to come to Russia from Portugal this
summer.

The Brazilian striker, who scored 16 goals for Primeira Liga outfit last season, completed a reportedly 50 million Euros move to Petrovsky stadium after signing a four-year contract with the St. Petersburg club last week.

FC Khimki head coach, Aleksandr Tarkhanov, has hailed Zenit’s latest acquisition, saying that the new arrival will help the Russian outfit in major competitions including the UEFA Champions League.

There is little arguing to the statement that Zenit have been handed a tough group in Europe. Luciano Spalletti’s men will compete with Malaga FC, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RSC-Anderlecht-c40394 and AC Milan in the group stages.

While Tarkhanov believes that the Meshki bolstered their attacking ranks by signing the 26-year-old forward, who had one year remaining on his contract prior to completing his move to Zenit, but, he does not believe that the player is worth all the money.

“Of course, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 is a great talent but not worth the money that Zenit have paid to the Portuguese club. However, Petrograders can afford such a transfer. In the end, they get the player for themselves to solve their problems. So it is not necessary to think
about how this acquisition will affect the Russian market as a whole.”

“I think this move can extract the positive aspects, such as the motivation of other high-foreign players to move to Russia” The former FC Krylia Sovetov Samara manager was quoted as saying.
The fact that the Russian national team have won the opening group stage game of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers pleased Tarkhanov, who hailed the team’s commitment and was particularly proud of Dynamo Moscow’s Aleksandr Kokorin's
performance.

Tarkhanov is of the beleif that the young striker will play an important role for his naitonal side in the near future.
