Tarot cards upside down?

Question

If i pull a card from a deck of tarot cards upside down, but i was actually holding the whole pack upside down (accidently), does it still mean anything?

Actually, while you are mixing the cards together thinking about your question, you are supposed to mix some of the cards upside down.  This is so some of them will be right side up and some will be reversed. This is how you get a reversed card.  You want some reversed cards for a more accurate reading.  So, don't try to keep all the cards facing up.  

However, when you finish with the cards, always fut them in numeric order facing up.  This will restore the original energy to the cards and not leave the energy from the previous reading.  

Reversed cards always have a different interpretation than normal.  The meaning of the card may be intensified or the meaning could be the opposite of what the card normally means.  It all depends on which card it is.

Reversals usually add hidden depth and meaning to a tarot deck. However, if the entire deck of card was reversed accidentally, then you might wish to forgo interpreting the cards in the reversed manner.

If you arent particularly comfortable with reversed cards, simply turn them upright. Cards in their upright position are already difficult enough to interpret at times so this could add on to the confusion.

Only that you were holding the deck upside down. And if you pull a card from the deck upside down when the whole deck is right-side up, then that probably means you put the card in wrong in the first place.

I interpret reversed cards the same as upright.  The meaning of the card is the same but the expression is slightly different.
