  1. One. Why should anyone need more than that in order to do readings or study?

Seems to me that any more than one and you need to start calling yourself a Collector, or at least a Collector-Reader.

  2. the dragon deck, the angel deck, the goddess deck, the mermaid and dolphin oracle, Native American oracle, swiss deck - 6 decks. i mainly use the dragon ones.

    i also have rune stones

  3. I have 7 different tarot decks and also several oracle decks as well. I enjoy the beauty of much of the artwork on tarot cards and have a wish list for about 8 more decks, errrr... ok, for 18 more.

While I could use just one primary deck for readings, I often find that depending on the client, a specific deck will "call out" to be used for that individual so I like having several on hand.

I also want to second Legend: The Arthurian Tarot (by Ferguson). It's a wonderful deck! I also really love my Crow Magick tarot cards, and the Gilded Tarot as well... I could just go on and on, but I'll spare you all.

  4. I own one and frequently have a friend perform a Daily Draw for me with his deck.  My deck has a personality of its own and doesn't "like" to come out and play unless something exciting has just happened.

I've found a second deck that I very much like and am saving up for it.

  5. one ,i've had it for years ,22 to be exact.

  6. 4 actual tarot decks, and several packs of 'oracle' cards. I still haven't found the 'one' if you know what I mean, but I'll keep looking.

  7. I own 7; I have only ever used 1 deck, which I have read with for about 30 years; I have the other because of their beauty, they are works of art in themselves.

  8. Hello Raven

I used to have many, now 5.

Two decks the same for work & 3 that are shown the light of day once in a while.

    Sadhara

  9. Two. A 'Mah Jong' Chinese set, and a Goddess set. But I also have Rune Stones, which although more difficult to learn as it's symbols only, I find them really helpful

  10. Last count was over 70 but I've given up trying to keep track of them.  Have a few on my wish list too.

    I'm hopelessly addicted!

    Lyn

  11. This is a bit like asking how many wives do you have!

One should be enough ... if you cherish it and treat it right. :-)

  12. I've got two decks and a mixer, but no matter what I try I find I am unable to predict the future with them.

  13. Three

I was fortunate enough to find the deck I'm most comfortable with on the third shot.....it's a really cool Greek mythology deck.

  14. I use one deck more than any other, but all together I own 12 decks. Might I recommend my fav? It's called  Legend: The Arthurian Tarot. It's based on the legends of King Arthur and his ilk.

Here is what they look like.

  15. I only have four at the moment: Robin Wood, Osho Zen, Tarot of Mermaids, and Universal Tarot. The last two I bought just last week, because of the resurgence of my interest in tarot. But I have 10 decks on my wish list :)

I also have one Faeries' Oracle.

I'm currently on a tarot craze, and also an addict like you XD

  16. 2 or 3 tarot but lots and lots of oracle cards

  17. I have two but only use one

  18. I have more tarot than oracle decks, but the total number all together is roughly 40. Give or take now and then for I so a bit of buy, sell & trading of decks.

Some are for ‘collecting’ others are for certain uses.

With tarot, I actively read with about 10 or 15 different decks.

For me each deck has a different way of communicating. Since I work more with intuition than text-book style readings, I also choose which deck to use with my intuition.
