Tarzan and Jane in the jungle, is it funny?

Question

One day in the Jungle, there was a terrible fire near Tarzan and Jane's tree hut, and Jane was inside the hut! As the flames licked the side of the hut, Tarzan returned and was standing in the big tree next to the one that held their hut.

"Jane" yelled Tarzan, "I'll swing over to you, and you grab the vine- hold on as hard as you can , and I'll swing us to safety!"

"What?" hollered Jane!

So Tarzan repeated what he just said. Jane nodded her head in acknowledgment, so Tarzan made a big swing towards the tree hut. As he got close-Jane jumped and grabbed tightly with both hands! Moments later, Tarzan screamed and they both fell to the ground.

"What happen Tarzan?" asked Jane, "did you lose your grip?"

While Tarzan lay on the ground in a fetal position and obviously in a lot of pain, he hollered "The VINE Jane......I said grab the f*cking VINE!"
