VfB Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci has been linked with a move to Italian giants AC Milan in this summer’s transfer window.
Rossoneri are in search of a central defender this summer after the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, completed their move to the French
capital for a fee believed to be around 65 million Euros.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team are now believed to be after Serdar Tasci, a player who has been linked with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and Barcelona in the past. The Milan club see the German international as a tout replacement for Thiago
Silva and are keen to start negotiations with the 25-year old.
Tasci’s agent, Francesco Di Frisco, claims that Milan are after the player and revealed that the defender also wants to play for the former Serie A champions. The player’s representative insisted that Tasci has a dream of playing
in the Italian League and if Rossoneri come for him, it will not be a difficult decision for him.
Frisco added that Stuttgart would also want to cash-in on their player as the defender’s contract expires at the end of the 2013-14 season and Die Roten would not want the player to leave on a free transfer.
“AC Milan like Serdar very much and the player has dreamed of playing in Milan since he was a child. His contract expires in 2014 and Stuttgart would not want to give him away as he is also their captain,” he was quoted as saying
in an interview.
However, the agent stated that AC Milan are not the only club after the German international. He stressed that Barcelona, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are also names that have shown interest to sign the defender.
“But there are many important clubs interested in the player. There is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and especially English clubs Manchester City and Tottenham are interested in him,” he concluded.
