  1. Probably you *are* the administrator. Login to one of the administrator accounts and use the following procedure to enable task manager.

    ENABLE TASK MANAGER USING GPEDIT

    =====================================

    * Click Start

    * Click Run

    * Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK

    * In the Group Policy settings window

    * Select User Configuration

    * Select Administrative Templates

    * Select System

    * Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options

    * Select Remove Task Manager

    * Double-click the Remove Task Manager option

    * Change the setting to not configured

    * Restart or wait few hours

    If this does not work you must have a look at the following URL for three alternate methods.

  2. There is a registry key that was disabled.  This happens when the system becomes infected, or your on a company computer and an IT depo has locked the system down.

    Either way you need to change the registry value for it using regedit.

    If you need help at doing this check out http://www.nicklockard.com for more info

  3. Go to the start menu.

    To open Task Manager: Start, Run, In the Run window, type taskmgr, then click Ok.

    That should do it.

    Hope this help's
