The Bulls won the toss and chose to field first, with McDermott (13-1-65-3), Hauritz (11-0-53-3), and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TD-Paine-c2652 (5) were both lacklustre (dismissed
by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Brian-Christopher-Broad-c48475 and McDermott respectively), but skipper George Bailey (102) anchored the innings with a vital century.
Bailey was aided in his efforts by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/George-Bailey-c1480 went on to team up with Jonathan Wells (41) for
a 98-run fourth-wicket stand.
Their combined efforts got the Tasmania Tigers up to 200, and the team appeared to be on solid ground. Wells was dismissed by Hauritz in the 42nd over, and Bailey followed him back to the pavilion in the very next over, sent packing by McDermott.

Tigers were all out at 275.
The target appeared a challenging one, but the Bulls faced no trouble during the chase, which they managed to complete successfully at the expense of just 5 wickets. Faulkner (11-1-78-2) was the only one who attempted to challenge http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834’s batsmen, but
his lone efforts did not prove potent enough to restrict the opposition.
Usman Khawaja (78) and wicketkeeper skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Faulkner-c1643 then went on to
dismiss both http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Joe-Burns-c67125 (39) was run out by Mark Cosgrove in the 38th over.
By this point, the Queensland Bulls were at 187 for 4, and the rest of the innings was driven by Player of the Match Reardon, who took charge and remained unbeaten on 71. Aided by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jason-Floros-c66432 (10*),
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nathan-Reardon-c2071 got the team up to 278, with 5 wickets and 1 ball remaining.
