Tasty vegetarian alcoholic drinks?

other than beers/lagers (although, i only know of becks, grolsh, heineken, and carlsburg that are veggie. any other nice(r) ones?)

Hard liquor and most mixed drinks.  Just avoid paralyzers Irish cream and things with milk.  Very few bartenders use egg in the drinks that are suposed to have egg in them.

You are right in saying that many beers are not vegetarian; however, most people describe them as not vegan (due to animal products being involved in their processing rather than being an ingredient). This may be why the other answerers were a little confused?

Beers, Wines and Ciders are the main ones you have to watch out for. Spirits are usually safe.

If in doubt you can always contact the manufacture. This can have mixed results but it is worth a go. Personally, I;ve always been ignored :) But I have heard of some small breweries agreeing to stop using isinglass.

I usally don't drink meat drinks. Am I missing something? What typical mixers and alcohols are not vegetarian? I knew there was a vegan issue with the way sugar was refined...

Most alcoholic drinks I know don't use meat, so I think they all qualify. Unless you count the use of yeast, which is required in the making all alcohol.

Isinglass, from fish stomach's, is the big one you want to look out for. I think they are usually in stouts. Guinness for sure uses Isinglass, avoid!
