Tata indicom?

do i have to buy a tata cell to get a tata indicom connection. Presently i have vodafone connection i want to get tata indicom but do i have to change my cell .... i have samsung slider. ... can i change the sim or is there something to it..

TataIndicom uses CDMA.  Even though they have SIM cards now (like GSM always had), they're still not compatible with GSM phones.  You can't use a Tata Indicom SIM in a GSM phone, and you can't use a GSM SIM in a Tata Indicom Phone.  Vodaphone is a GSM carrier so your phone the slider is a GSM phone.  Can't use it on Tata, sorry!
