Tatoo age???????? URGENT!!!?

i realllly want a tatoo only a little star or sumthink on my wrist but im only 14 so where abouts in the uk would tatoo either a 14 year old or lyk a 15 year old as my frends brotha got a tatoo wen he was 15 also my sisiter got her 1st tatoo wen she was 16 so do u think i sud get 1 now or maybe wen im 15 or wud i have 2 wait until im 16???

Only someone who was too young to get a tattoo would put up a post like this.

Sorry child, you have to grow up 1st, and be 18 yrs. old.

It might be good to learn how to spell and type over the next few years.

If this is sooooooooooooooooooooooo important to you, it will be even more so by the time your 18, so why don't you save this question and read it on that birthday and see what you think about it?

Minimum legal age in the UK for a tat is 18 - we don't do the "16 with parental consent" thing here.

I'm sure there are lots of places where you could get it done, but I wouldn't trust anybody who's willing to risk prosecution for assault to mark my skin for life, would you?

and any tattoo parlor that will ink you is obviously not a good place to go!

I believe (but not sure) it's 16 with a parent. I live in Canada, so I'm not sure. Call a studio and ask. I know that no decent artist will touch a 14 year old. You could find a scratcher to do it, but you then run the risk of Hep C, infection, bad work, etc. Wait a few years, you'll be happier in the long run.

You have to be 18 years old BY LAW to get a tattoo done in the UK,

Anyone who is willing to tattoo you underage is not responsible enough with your body.

If you manage to find a place that will tattoo you as young as you are, they obviously know they are breaking the law and if they are willing to break one law, what other laws are they disregarding (reusing needles, improper sterilization etc.)?

you need to wait until at least 18.  you also need to wait until you are calmer about the idea for getting a tattoo.  you will choose something you will regret if you get it now.

since you are only 14...you have a wonderful 4 years to find that really special, unique design that you totally love and will never regret getting tattoe'd to you body.

start searching and cutting out pics and leaving them in around your room to look at everyday.  re-look at them all really close after a month.. and the ones you don't like anymore.... throw them out and be VERY thankful that you didn't get them tattoe'd on just yet!!!

the ones you like... keep them out and still evaluate them each month.

just be patient and understand that the tatto you finally get at age 18 is going to be soooo amazing bc you will put so much thought into it!
