Tatto artist help... proffesional please?

I want a small Olympic ring symbol on my back....I went to a tattoo artist in my area...she said it was too small and over a couple years it would "blob" together...is she full of **** or speaking the truth? She told me to get a bigger one......I've seen athletes with small ones and they look fine? What is she tryin to say?

she's right.

your skin will stretch as you get older, and yes it will "blob" together.

there's only looks good now, cause their skin is still tight.

Hard to say without looking at the pattern. But, yeah, if it's got too much detail in too small of an area, it'll eventually bleed together. She may just think it won't look good that size. Remember, her name is going to be riding on it whenever someone asks who did it.
