Tattoo Help!!? What should i do if...?

Question

i'm going into the tenth grade in a week and want to show off my new tattoo's. I've been wrapping and creaming them everyday since i've got it. Would it mess up my tattoo if i didn't wrap it for a day?

My tattoo is flames going up my wrists.

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO WRAP IT AT ALL!!! and only put the cream you buy on it for 5 days, then u put unscented lotion on it....

........o man, this is why they have age limits on tattoos........

i was told to cover it the rest of the night after i got it done then don't put anything over it just keep it kinda moist with ontiment.. so im sure you would be fine..they are gonna scab and peel but thats totally normal just dont pick at it otherwise it will bring out the ink..

sounds like your a little young for tattoos if i may say so. But that aside, dont worry about showing them off yet, even if you miss the first few days of school or whatever. Just look after them until they are ready. You wont impress your freinds with ugly scabs. Do yourself a favour and just wait. They will impress people in the end i am sure.

very nice tattoo.

i have 9 tattoos and i actually take the wrapping off the next morning after i get them. as long as you don't scratch it, it will be fine. your tattoo needs air in order to heal anyways. i actually suggest you keep moisturizing it, but take the bandages off for good.

Don't! wrap them.

Wrapping is really not good for a healing tattoo. Your ink needs to breathe, so that it can eventually scab and heal. Apply plain, unscented lotion a few times a day, but DO.NOT.WRAP a tattoo.

Have you ever gotten a scab wet? It turns into mush. The same thing can happen to your tattoo if you don't allow it to get some air.

When i got my tattoo they told me to keep it wrapped for the first two hours and then to just keep applying cream and after those two hours i never wrapped it again and It was fine. Why do you have tattoos in the tenth grade?????

i only had to wrap mine for two hours.  it wont be hard to show off just wear short sleeves.

you shouldn't still be wrapping them.  just use the vitamin oil for the first three days and then use a simple moisturizer until it's fully healed. leave the d**n thing alone.  how old are you?  14?  you got a tattoo and you're going to s***w it up!   FOLLOW TO THE ARTIST'S DIRECTIONS!

You should never wrap your tattoo after you take the first bandage off. Your tattoo needs to breathe, or you are going to get yourself an infection.

Your parents honestly let you have a tattoo? Geez..What is this world coming to?
