Tattoo Parlours in HCMC?

Are there any and what are the costs like?

Moving to HCMC in August with G/F who will teach at BIS HCMC and I love tattoos!

For a long time I didn't think there was a tattoo parlor in Vietnam, because I had not seen a single native Viet with a tattoo. Suddenly I seen a few tattooed Viets while in HCMC on my last trip and then I seen a tattoo parlor the same day. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly where it's at. I recall that it was in District 1 a few blocks Northwest of Ben Thanh Market.

A word of caution: I would be VERY CAREFUL getting a tattoo there. Make absolutely sure they are careful about hygiene and cleanliness. You don't contract AIDS just because you want to get a shamrock tattooed on your butt.

Yes, There are a few. Cost from 80 bucks up, depends on size. I have quite a few friends have done it. These services are quite pro, and you have your own needles.
