Tattoo Touch up Question For People With Wrist Tattoos?

I have a tattoo on my inner wrist, and I think it is time for a touch up. I was wondering if the touch up hurts worse than the actual tattoo. I have two tattoos and numerous piercings, and the pain has never bothered me. I have no problem with pain, but I am curious.

I would think it would hurt just as much as it did when you first got it I haven't retouched any of mine but if you think about it you are still getting inked and I doubt the pain would be any less
