Tattoo above achilles tendon?

Question

I want a small tattoo above my achilles tendon, almost right below my calf muscle. Is this a good place or should i just get it on my ankle like everyone else?

its not about what every1 else has its about what u want. if ur getting a tattoo i would not want to follow a trend like every1 else. i would try to stand out & b different. im 90lbs & have 12 of them all n very sens. places. from one on my foot, right side of my ribbs, to my neck & my finger, need i go on...tattoos are going to hurt no matter where u get it, period! so if ur gonna go thru the pain of getting 1 make sure its what & where YOU want it. dont base the decision of YOUR tattoo on what SUM1 ELSES says.....

<p>I have a waterfall covering the outer part of my calf and it is going to wrap around my leg and just done the achilles tendon part of it.&nbsp;IT&nbsp;HURTS, SWELLS and THUMPS!!&nbsp;It will be worth it in the end, but be prepared! It is very tender and still swollen a week later.</p>

i had a tat done in this spot yesterday and it did hurt but it wasnt unbearable and it looks awesome! I havent seen anyone else with one there so its more individual. Go for it.
