Tattoo after care day 7?

I've had my tattoo for 7 days and it is scabbing up really bad, should i use a&d ointment or non scented lotion

A&D ointment is better because its stronger, but if you're broke any non-scented moisturizer will do the trick.  The main thing is don't pick or scratch.  As my tattoo artist friend used to say, "keep your d**n dirty hands off of it." Oh, and if it itches, slap it instead of scratching.

just use unscented lotion...ludriderm works great...you only need to put the a&d for the first 3-5 days...lotion is best after that
