Tattoo and school? Concealed or not?

My ok so he's not my friend he's actually my ex. But that doesn't matter. Anyways well. He's got a tattoo on his forearm. Its a god send symbol from Heroes(really stupid sign and really stupid show. Sorry for the people who like it). Can it be visible or does he have to have it covered? BTW I live in CA if that helps.

  1. That would depend on your school's rules.  You would have to consult them because every school will deal with this differently.


  2. I think you'd have to ask the school, but If he's under 18 it wouldn't be surprising if they said he had to cover it, since that is the legal age to get tattooed in California (or used to be, may have changed).

  3. my school didn't allow tattoos to be seen but they didn't enforce it. maybe once in a while but they would just tell me to cover it up. but i never did. school in L.A. by the way.

  4. This depends on the school's dress code policy.

    In most public schools it would not have to be covered.
