Question:

Tattoo artists please help!?

I have a horrible Elvish tattoo on my shoulder that I would like to get re-done. However, it can't be gone over and "fixed" because of the odd lines, so I would have to get a cover up 3 times it's size, which would look tacky. I was looking for ways of removing the existing tattoo and getting the one that I really want in it's place. I came across Wrecking Balm online and would like to know your opinion? Does it work and would the area be able to have a tattoo on it again after I use it? Tattoo artists opinions needed! Thanks a lot!

  1. it's hard to say anything not seeing the tattoo itself. but if you really want something pretty instead, you should probably visit your local tattoo shop and consider laser removal. i don't personally trust anything suspiciously miraculous i come across online. it's like hundreds of acne products that don't work yet look so good in commercials. laser allows you to "lighten" the tattoo, however traces and maybe scars are possible. the reason why i'm saying this is that it's easier to cover up something light than something dark. laser helps with that.

    good luck to you.
