Tattoo at the small of my back?

Question

I would like to get a tatto at the bottom of my back but cnt seem to find any ideas. I have looked at tattoo johnny which is quite popular but i cant find any. I would like it pretty not too big and in black. Any links or ideas? Thanks .x.

a great site to get ideas from is www.bmezine.com

its has pics of tattoos people have put up in catagorised sections.of course this would only be for ideas and not an actual tattoo for yourself(it would be unfair to person and artist if you copied their work).  It can give you an idea of what looks good and what doesn't.

you'll need some patience trawling through the pics, but you get some good ideas!

You need to get to know the tattoo idea a lot better, so that you can make an informed decision that you will be happy with for your whole life.

Ask yourself why do you want a tattoo? Who's it for? If it is for yourself, then you need to be truly involved in it. You don't just line up 10 designs and pick one. You don't look for tattoos you look for what you are involved in, what interests you, .. not just any old thing that someone else places in front of you.

Check out this site, and I mean all of it, read everything, look at everything, think about all of it. Then don't look at anything tattoo related until you start to form an image that is yours from  your life.

Know what the consequences are.

Know how you feel about it (no matter what anyone else thinks or says)

Imagine yourself as you age, and how you will view your decision.

just type key words and stuff..

or just use some other webistes..

sometimes you can find a good one..

dont really like tattoo johnny...

the pictures seem too childlike..

there are so many things that u can do.  when people come to me without ideas i always ask them what they are into as far as hobby's and such.  then go from there.  so think of stuff u like to do or that are appealing to u in everyday life and build an idea off of that

I was going to get a stencil sort of pattern of a butterfly so all the outlines and details but with no filling. it will look symmetrical and has alot of really nice detail. its also quite easy to extend with stars etc if you wanted leter.although I did get a tatoo on my back and i do sort of regret it so think think think!!!

I would rethink the small of your back...so popular and are known as "tramp stamps." What about on side of back or something?  Do you want flowers or a design or water?  I would also recommend, finding a design you like and waiting to get it for a year.  If you still want it then....go for it! :P My husband and I are tattooed and that's sort of the "rule" so to speak! :)
