I already have one tattoo and i'm not over the moon with it, it's not exactly the way i wanted it colourwise.

I think it looks slightly unfinished due to the pattern around the star.

I want it extended across the bottom of my back or i was thinking of getting anothier tattoo, preferably small and sweet :)

any ideas?

heres a picture of my existing tattoo

  1. Honestly the star tattoo is so so so over done. I would suggest thinking about coming up with something that is meaningful to you and see if you can incorporate the star.  People seem to be getting the star because they are trendy right now.  But they have no meaning.  It is very easy to regret something down the line that has no meaning and that you get for no reason other than it being a trend.  Definetly think about yourself and what is important to you and see if you can come up with a tattoo that has meaning.  Good Luck!

  2. I agree to try to make it a shooting star.

But it does look good as it is.

  3. I think its cute! Can you somehow make it into a shooting star?

  4. I think it looks great!! leave it!

put do have a back piece!:-p

  5. To make it more complete and to extend it, I would possibly go with the ideas already stated: stars and spirals, but make the spirals more intended, like this ancient triple spiral:

    and this sparkle stars:

    or this idea:

oooooo, I think that this idea is what would work, just add spirals to the little stars, and little stars to the spirals:

And, I think that the problem with your existing tattoo is the color by itself doesn't look as pretty as you think that it should. The reason being their is no contrasting color to make it pop... it is just against your skin color, (and no offense, but light tan just doesn't do it) You need to add blue (a pretty blue) that winds behind the star and beside the pinks, then it will look more finished, and the color will look 100% better! (this link is only to show how the 2 colors help each other):

find the images that appeal to you and go to a different artist to get a fresh start.
