Tattoo ideas please?

Question

Okay well I'm 15 (i know young for a tattoo, but my mom has a friend who does them..heh) but any who I'm getting a tattoo(s), just small ones cause I don't want to get anything big in case i might regret it in the future. But anyway I'm getting Rock & Roll on my wrist (if i build up the courage) and I wanted to get something else somewhere nice.

i don't want anything on my arms(upper arms) or legs. I also wanted to get something that represents Elvis.

I know sounds weird to have Elvis somewhere on me , but my whole life ive grown up with Elvis and rock so, those are to big things in my life

but anyway, if you have any ideas where/what i should get/put Elvis, thatd be GREAT.

Any other ideas would be great.

I think that a tribute to Elvis would be wonderful...

However, I also think you should wait until your 18 years old.

I'm not trying to be rude, but if your mom's "Friend" will tattoo someone who is underage, how good is the work they do? Is this a professional, or someone who will mess you up, and then you'll have to spend lots of time and money having this "masterpiece" fixed?  And even if they are a professional, it seems shady they would tattoo a child! (I know 15 is not a BABY, but you are not of legal age for a tattoo!)

Tattoos are beautiful and personal, and honestly, yahoo is not the place to be asking what you should get.

I am not trying to come down on you, I too, was 15 once and wanted a tattoo. I just had to wait, and really, I am glad I did!

i recommend waiting until YOU know where you want to get a tattoo. a tattoo is a permanent thing and you can't ask people where they think you should get one done. honestly wait until you have made up your mind then you won't have any regrets.

OK number 1... if youre worried about regretting it - your wrist is the worst place to put one other than your face. everytime you extend your hand you'll see it (and so will everyone else) cool when youre 15? maybe to you. but just you. nobody else will be impressed.

number 2.... if youre going to get a tattoo... get a tattoo

people that have little crappy tattoos all over them look terrible.

I'd rather see a big back or ribcage piece anyday.

I have 6 tattoos and I would say not to ask some one else what you should get on your body. I have two that I regret because I didn't really think about them or someone else picked it out. I am getting them removed which is very expensive( $300 a treatment for a 2 inch tattoo and it takes at least two treatments). If you really want a tatto you should take the time to think about it and really decide what means something to you. And remember if you get into a professional job in the future you may not want a tattoo showing so really consider placement.

You should definetly get a guitar or some of his lyrics that you like or think are inspirational. Your idea is very nice but I do think that you should wiat until you are a little older only because you will be more mature and be able to handle pain a little easier. Good Luck!!!!

under your arms on your ribcage.. and not something that is straight up and down..

My friend has an abstract fish there and it looks great!  Also you won't get as tired of looking at it since it is partially hidden.  That and when you have formal events to go to it won't be visible.

I would suggest agaisnt the upper chest!!! very much!! my friend made that mistake. As well as the back of your neck.

Maybe you could do an abstract elvis with old school sunglasses on and a guitar in front of him (that he is holding) thats look like it is alot further forward then he is so its almost as big as him; then you represent what he symbolizes more then his humanly self by showing his guitar.

I would opt against the wrist one I have to be honest.  These are just suggestions that can broaden your scope of what could go where.. personally i would wait till you at least 18.. there's no rush it will be with you the rest of your life!! I waited till I was 19 to even get a piercing i wanted since i was 15 just t see if i still wanted it.
