  1. think of what you really want and what it means to you... if you still like it in three years when you are 18 then go ahead

  3. no no no

i wanted a tattoo wen i was ur age to but guess what

ur not dont growing. theres a reason why u have to be 18, besides the fact that ur underage, ur just gonna mess up ur body and the tattoo is gonna be a waste of money. its going to stretch. even if u dont think ull grow anymore, u are. just wait.

think about what u want to get then on 3 years wen ur sure then get it

  4. Please listen what you find interesting now will not always be what you like 5 years from now I know you won't believe it but it is true. Didn't you go apey for something three years ago and do not like it now?

  5. I have a tattoo on my hip bone.  When I had it worked on the first time, I had the artist do a very traditional looking heart with a music note inside of it (about the size of my palm).  That tattoo has a lot of meaning to me and is very personal.

For me, what to get for a tattoo is something that will really hit you - when you know what you want, you will KNOW that's what you want.  That said, I got my first tattoo when I was 15 and I still love it (I'm in my 20s now).  I thought about something that would always have meaning for me and that represented a big event in my life, and worked with an artist on the design.  For what it's worth, I don't think tattoos always need to have a "meaning" to them, but they need to be something you can live with & look at the rest of your life.

Why don't you think about some things that have been a big part of your life?  Symbolizing something that's helped shape the person you are today with always hold a special meaning to you.  That's how I decided on the designs for most of my tattoos.  Zodiac symbols, images (ex: flowers, animals, and so forth) that represent a feeling/personality trait you embody, etc etc are all places you could start.  Do some research into the history behind images you like, there are a lot of interesting mythologies and stories behind many popular images.  Once you decide on a concept or design, talk to an artist - they will help you come up with the actual tattoo design and may have more suggestions for you.

    Good luck!!

  6. I don't have one, but my roommate last year had one on each side. One of hers was a person and under it, it said dance. And the other was... Well, I don't remember but it had to do with raving. She was really into partying and raving when she did it...

Do something that interests you. And DON'T do it unless you know you ABSOLUTELY want it!!

  7. ok so now that we established it's for your hip ;)

i encourage you to wait till you find "the one" like a perfect boyfriend or the perfect song... you know when you find the perfect tattoo

possibilites are endless as to what you can get.

you can get your name, or inititals. maybe a swirly font

    a musical note or notes.

a flower for your birth month

something to signifiy a nick name. my fiance's sisters nick name is wormie- we joke when she's old enough we are getting an inch worm on her ankle or foot.

    a couple cherries

a few stars- to keep dreaming to

a celtic knot- to remember to keep going

a small fairy- to remember to keep believing in impossible things

i can probly think of a few more things if you tell me more of your intersts and hobbies...

    which...

can change quite often when you are a teenager which leads me to my next point (that most teens don't like to hear)

wait till you are 18yo and get it once you know what you want, there is no rush to get a tattoo.

they are forever so don't get one just to get one, know it and know you will love it 50 yrs from now
