ok i got my firstt tattoo wen i was 17 it is a tribal pattern on my arm and the quality was very bad and i had to go to another tattooist to get it touched up and filled in because the original guy missed spots and has actualy scard my arm so the tattoo looks kinda botched and scard, but then i got 2 more like 9 months ago and i decided i dont like any of them but might keep my original 1 so im thinkin of getin them lazerd off and even tho their tribal, the way they are they cant realy be extended, thy can but wil just make my arm look a mess so i'd rather get um lazerd off, and what i want to know is if i get um lazerd off

1: being tribal, thich black coloured in would it be easy to be lazerd off

and

2: would i be able to get other tattoos in the future over the 1's that were lazerd off?

  1. 1.  All you really need to do is get it lightened enough that you can go over it effectively.  There shouldn't be a problem getting this done since it's all one color. One color tattoo = one frequency laser so you may be able to get it lightened enough in one sitting. You will most likely have some residual "shadowing" no matter how many times you get it lased so going over it with something that you really like isn't a bad idea.

    2.  Yes, you can. Wait till the area is totally healed and the skin is nice and happy over the area. Maybe 4-6 weeks just to be sure, but ask your artist.
