im not gunna lie im not ina good mood, but last night i called the tattoo place (it was closed and i left a message) saying i wasnt sure if i was gunna get the tattoo on my foot or chest, just so they know, and i would call later on or in the morning

so i called this morning before they opened and said i was getting it on my chest, and if they could give me a call back just so i knwo they got the message.. cause i dont know if that changes things for the artist..

it opened at 10:00, and i recalled back at 11:30 and asked if they got my message, and the girl asked the other one, and i could hear her laughing saying, "ya i got like 3 of his messages"

is it just im in a bad mood, or is that extreamly b*tchy to say?.. like all i wanted to do is not cause problems for the artist..

  1. it happens to alot of people but they cud have been laughing at something else ...but if they wasnt ..then i wudnt let them be worth my time..get ur tat  and go on..thts jus what i wud do

  2. Yeah, the way you put it, it seems kind of rude to say. Seems like poor customer service. I don't think it will affect the artist or anything but if it's really bugging you looks like to me that you should just find another tattoo parlor.

  3. yeah that was kinda b*tchy i'm not gonna lie... but thats how alot of those girls are who work in tattoo shops are. they think they are certified bad a$$es. just brush it off

  4. You are not in a bad mood! If you really are p*ssed at the girl than just try a different place. You were just trying to make sure that it wasn't going to b a trouble. Don;t worry about it

  5. it is rude of them not to call back to let you know they know, both as common sense and that the location of a tattoo might affect the price, something i always like to know before hand.

as for it being your mood or the artist, i think it could have been either, or a combination of both. i went to check out a shop when i was getting my first one (didn't get it done there) and the artist was a complete ******. you don't want some pr*ck working on you. however, it *possible* that she meant it jokingly, but with your mood you interpreted it wrong.

but, if they got 3 of your messages, why were you not contacted? especially since you requested them to call you? i think what you have here is people who don't appreciate your business.

  6. It's rude but you need to look at it from both sides; most studios don't phone people back purely because they can't afford to loose incoming calls, especially in the summer. The only exception to that rule tends to be people phoning with problems in which case it's a quick call asking them to come in and have it looked at as we can't make a diagnosis over the phone (you have no idea how many people phone up because their piercing is 'big and kinda red')

It makes very little difference where you're getting the design as long as the design itself is finalized

  7. Combo of both my friend. It was a bitchy thing to say, but chances are good that the chicks answering the phones are little teeny bopper shop groupies anyway. So don't let your annoyance with them come out on your artist (or his annoyance with you can come out on your tattoo). Ignore it. they were being dumb girls. People forget that getting inked is exciting for some people so they want to make sure everything goes right. Just let it go. They're just dumb girls and probably have no business being in the shop anyway.
