Tattoo quote ideas for shoulder piece?

I want to get a shoulder piece that wraps from my shoulder blade, to the shoulder, and finishes on my arm...maybe some on my chest... id like to have a quote in it....and maybe my children's name incorperated into it as well....( ilia rayne and michelle louise ) any idea...oh and i want the quote to be inspirational and maybe reflect hardship...basically does any one know any inspirational quotes that arnt a mile long?

I want to get this: Per aspera ad astra. It's Latin for "Through difficulties to the stars" and means a lot to me for various reasons. I would start reading some proverbs and try to find something that has real meaning to you.
