I'm young and i do not want children. But i know there is a very good possibility I'll end up having some. I would like a tattoo on my hips. If i do get pregnant what is the possibility it'll ruin my tattoo(s)?

  1. That is a likely possibility if you get tattoos high on your hips, near your belly button or around your b*****s. Those areas are more likely to stretch severely with pregnancy than any other area on your body. Your back doesn't really change, it gets pulled tight around the sides but not much beyond that. Lower and to the outside of the hip bone tattoos could be saved if you end up carrying high in a given pregnancy but lower pregnancies affect more of the lower region closer to your thighs and right at your hip bones. You said it yourself, you are young. Think it out. If you have any concerns then don't do it just yet and if you decide to go for it anyway then you know what you are going after with the chances you may face.

  2. its always a possiblity but not very likely especially if you stay active during pregnancy

  3. I donno but all the doctors and nurses and interns will see it and any one else they let in the room to watch the birth of a baby. they'll have you spread open for all the world to see your hoochie coo. and by that time your tattoo will be the last thing on your mind. at lest that is what they did with my now ex wife.

but on your hip I don't think it gets stretchy marks on them   but don't just put a bunch of flowers and pictures and all that c**p like that all over your body to take away from your natural God given beauty =)

keep pretty and keep it tight =)

  4. Great!!! You want to put the tattoo in a location where you will stretch and then gravity will take over. Depending on how well you keep your body before you have children and after will determine the looks of your tat. I personally worked out a lot before pregnancy and I got plenty a stretch marks on my thighs, hips and butt. After having the child I haven't had the time to work out as hard so my skin is still loose but, I'm sure your husband whoever he maybe in the future will love you no matter what so go for it!!!

  5. i have a tattoo on my stomach and it didn't get messed up at all when i was pregnant. if you ever do get pregnant, from day one, rub cocoa butter on your stomach, hips and butt everyday. the thick, kind of greasy kind. i didn't get any stretch marks at all.
