astrology is not the same as astronomy nowadays. thousands of years ago, astrology and astronomy were one and the same thing, but i don't think modern people really understand what astrology is anymore.

Try reading up on science and you'll find astrology is pseudo-science nonsense. I agree, horoscopes and personality stuff can be loads of fun, but that's all it is. I mean, whats more likely to affect your life, a few stars BILLIONS of kilometers away or the neighbours dog that keeps you awake at night barking.

I'll give you an example, by my Chinese horoscope I'm a monkey and by the European one I'm scorpio. If you read the descriptions for these two they are wildly different. The world is sufficiently amazing we don't need to make stuff up :-)
