Interested in an 09 Camry SE for 23,750.00. What would the tax, title and registration fees be in Mass? First time buying a car so are there any other fees?

  1. Why don't you call the DMV? The dealer could tell you what that would be as well.

  2. TT&L fees vary by county.  What county do you live in?

EDITED TO ADD: Title fee = $50, registration/plate fee = $36 (assuming regular passenger plates, not vanity or specialty plates, etc), sales tax = 5% of purchase price = $1,187.50.  Plus the dealer may have a "documentary fee" (or something similar) for preparing paperwork etc. (Similar to closing costs on a house).  This fee varies based on state law, and can range from $0-150.  ($150 is the highest I've ever seen...I have not done extensive research on the different states' laws regarding the topic, and every dealer is different!)

If you want an EXACT quote, feel free to call your dealer...they should be able to tell you more details!
