  1. If and when you get hired in the US, you will be asked to file a form W-4.  You will fill the form out as directed (you generally indicate that you are single and a non-resident alien).  This causes the employer to withhold taxes from your pay and it's intended to have enough withheld that you would get a small refund when you file.

If you are a student and come over to the US to work for the summer, be advised that travel expenses are not deductible.

  2. when you come to the USA and get a job your employer will give you a form W-4 that has a few questions on it and from there your employer will know how much to withhold.

Also, remember this...YOUR TAX is YOUR TAX not a penny more not a penny less.  Even if you over pay your taxes during the year you will get it back as a refund.  There are "tricks" that some people do get bigger refunds but this is fraud and results in heavy fines and penalties and in some cases jail.

Dont worry too much about this part of coming to the USA. Its not that complicated.
