I am considering living and working in Europe. I am an American and and Irish citizen.

If I work in say... Spain, what taxes will I have to pay?

  1. As a US citizen you are subject to income tax on your worldwide income.  However there are exclusion rules if you live full time outside the US.  The first $84,000 or so is excluded.  After that you could pay tax in Spain and the US.
