Tax of imputation system?

received $400 in dividends from his shares in ABC Ltd. These dividends were ‘fully-franked’. He also purchased 10,000 more shares in ABC Ltd at $1 per share.

Congratulations on making an apparent true statement. As far as I am aware the imputation system does not pay tax. But then again, I do not know what an Imputation System is.

ABC ltd may well have paid tax.
