Tax rebate question.?

I received a letter about a week and a half ago stating i would recieve my check by friday (june 27) but did not. my last 2 digits of my soc. are 75. has anyone received there payment or are they running late? If so any info would help. cant get anything from IRS website or phone number. thanks......

My number is xx73.  We didn't get ours yet either.  Just be patient, maybe we'll get next week.

we received our the first of june

but it seems to take longer if you don't have automatic deposit

and the higher your #  the longer it will be

and ur # is high

I got the same letter. It does say it should be recieved by the 27th but the IRS website says sent on the 27th. So hopefully early next week we will get our checks!!!

it's not late,the letter was worded wrongly.

it was suppose to say mailed by the 27th,not received by the 27th.

it was sent yesterday so you'll get it sometime next week.

The letter is poorly worded.  The date is the date it was mailed by.  You should get it next week.

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule on 6/27, you may not get it until early in the week of 6/30.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

No, they said your check will be mailed by then.  

Actually the IRS web site would help you if you got to the right page where it clearly says on http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180... that if your SSN is 64 through 75, QUOTE Payments will be mailed no later than (and received a few days after): June 27 UNQUOTE

Wait a few days for the mailman to get there!

You will get your rebate check when you get it.  Be patient.
